Traidcraft is a Christian response to poverty, established in 1979 to fight poverty through trade. Traidcraft manages the sale of jointly promoted Christmas cards and calendars in partnership with Christian Aid, CAFOD and SCIAF. 25% of the sales value for cards and 15% for calendars is paid into a fund out of which agreed promotional expenses, such as the cost of catalogues, are paid and the rest is divided between the organisations, which amounts to around 14% of the sales revenue. Most craft products in this catalogue come from established Traidcraft overseas suppliers and are sourced on a fair trade basis. Christmas cards and some paper-based products are UK sourced as they cannot be imported from our fair trade producers and still be realistically priced. Revenue from sales of UK sourced products is ploughed back into our work, helping fight against poverty in the developing world. Some food products contain ingredients purchased in the UK and Europe where a fair trade alternative is not yet available. Please order early as stock is limited and availability cannot be guaranteed. As many of the products are handmade and natural dyes used, the size and colour of products many vary slightly to those shown. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases, as do the producers who made them. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation. We try to ensure that the products are the same as our original samples, although sometimes differences do occur. Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that due to the handcrafted nature of our products sizes, colours and designs may vary slightly from the catalogue image.

If you are not completely satisfied with any item you ordered, just return it, in the original packaging enclosing the completed returns form, which you will receive with your order, within 14 days of the date of receipt. We will refund your money or send you a replacement – no questions asked. Please note we are only able to replace identical products, so if you wish to order additional items it will be treated as a new order. Please note we are only able to accept items that have not be worn, altered or used. Goods are returned to Traidcraft at your own expense except when goods are damaged or faulty. The Traidcraft guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
